Australian Biologist and Geologist with a Bachelor degree at the University of Western Australia. Chris worked in several sectors of the gold mining industry before dedicating time to environmental restoration in 2000. He has fourteen years of experience in the control of invasive species, mostly on plants, but also worked on the control of the red fox. He worked with local, state and the federal government as well as with volunteer groups.
Chris moved to Brazil in 2014 and started to meet Brazilian professionals, including Sílvia Ziller e Michele Dechoum, through his partner, who is also a Biologist. He has been working with the Horus Institute on the control of invasive species, at the same time he is learning more about invasive and native species in Brazil.
